Recipe For a Moroccan Mint Iced Tea

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp Moroccan mint tea
  • 1 large bunch fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sugar (to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil water: Bring 4 cups to a boil.
  2. Rinse: Warm a teapot with some boiling water, then discard.
  3. Brew: Add tea and pour in 1/2 cup boiling water. Swirl and discard.
  4. Steep: Add mint, remaining water, and sugar. Steep 5 minutes.
  5. Cool: Strain into a pitcher, cool, then refrigerate.
  6. Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with mint and lemon.
